Youth Appreciation Week Scholarship Contest 2023
It's that time to call for applications in the 2023 Youth Appreciation Week (YAW) Scholarship Contest. This contest is limited to Frederick County Maryland high school juniors and seniors. So if you are ambitious and interested in entering the scholarship contest, please complete and submit your application by February 17, 2023.
Please note: where to send the YAW contest application, special dates to remember, time and location of the Scholarship Award Ceremony:
· Entries must be received by February 17, 2023;
· Winners and their parents will be notified by mail. The winners and their parents will be invited to the scholarship ceremony which will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 6:00 PM
at the Methodist Church, 705 West Patrick Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701;
· One $2,000 scholarship goes to the first place winner, one $1,000 scholarship goes to the 2nd place winner;
· Submit YAW contest application to: Mrs. Jane Martin at 3926 Wistman Lane, Myersville, Maryland 21773.
