The 32nd Annual Optimist Club of Frederick Talent Competition was held at 2PM March 24, 2018, at Thomas Johnson High School, 1501 North Market St, Frederick, MD.
This production featured the talents of students attending middle school or home schooled in Frederick County. The competition is in the areas of dance, string instruments, other instruments, vocal and dramatic monologue.
 
The grand prize winner is awarded $750; the winner of each category will receive $400; the remaining finalist will each receive $125. Of the 62 students who participated in the audition in March, there were 20 finalists who competed in the five categories for the final show. Eight judges selected the winners, and there was also a “People’s Choice” trophy decided by those in attendance in the audience.
